Everyone loves a cheeky Nando’s! Over the past 3 years we have helped Nando’s become the most loved restaurant amongst Gen Z. We’ve built brand love by connecting with students in a culturally relevant way.
Nando’s toured Universities across the country to keep students fueled and fired up for exam season.
During exam season we landed on campus with Nando’s aura booth. Encouraging students to take a break, check their energy and refuel - keeping students fired up for their exams.
We asked students to tell us their mood and paired them with their aura order - a perfect match from Nando’s menu. A chill-out zone provided the perfect space to relax and enjoy a free Nando’s fix.
A virtual aura booth hosted on NandosYard.online provided an opportunity for those who couldn’t attend to read their vibe and #PlaceYourAura.
Bringing local DJs, exclusive merch, and tipples into the night. Nando’s Yard On Tour got students across the country partying under the iconic Nando’s Barcelos.
To celebrate students’ return to Uni, we took Nando’s Yard on tour. Bringing non-stop beats and spicy eats to students in Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds. Each stop on the tour heroed the local nightlife scene in each city. Alongside unmissable headliners, we created an opportunity for up-and-coming student talent to join the line-up - putting the spotlight on extra-hot talent in each city.
A huge saucy giveaway. Whether Lemon & Herb or Extra Hot, students signed up to receive their PERi-fix.
We created the hottest accessory of the season, the Pocket PERi-PERi, promoted and showcased by our team of Student Brand Ambassadors.
Raptor launched a virtual Nando’s Yard with livestreams every two weeks. We curated killer playlists, gave out exclusive merch, and hosted PERi-PERi cook ups, handing students the Nando’s experience from wherever they were.
Nando's wanted to understand and connect with students in a culturally relevant way. And in doing so, position Nando's as a brand that can play a meaningful role in students' lives.
We produced a series of live streams which showcased a diverse range of up-and-coming artists from music colleges and universities across the country. Putting the spotlight on the hottest local talent, Nando’s helped aspiring musicians carve a path into the music industry. Each live stream was housed on Nando’s Gen Z microsite, NandosYard.online. The live-stream series was a huge success, with two of the student artists featured going on to be signed to a record label.

A hub for music, art and culture, nandosyard.online showcases extra-hot content from Nando’s brand ambassadors. After three successful years online we gave the site a refresh, re-designing the site with a new look and feel targeted to a youth audience.
