Response

Using our tried and tested formula of Network + Live + Amplify, we set up a year-long multi-faceted student campaign to drive awareness:

NETWORK

Ambassadors:
We recruited an army of 140 food obsessed student ambassadors from 20 cities in the UK & Ireland to represent Deliveroo on campus. Our hungry team used their physical and digital networks to ensure Deliveroo was, and continues to be, front of mind amongst students.

Society Partnerships:
We partnered with popular University societies and sports teams in selected cities to represent Deliveroo and promote the amazing range of restaurants on offer at group events and gatherings throughout the term.

LIVE

Surprise & Delights:
We partnered with local and national restaurants via Deliveroo to create always-on surprise and delight activations on campus, distributing the food that students enjoyed most at that time of year. This included ‘winter warmers’ during the colder months and ‘food for thought’ during the exam period.

Escape Rooms:
Our team of ambassadors supported the UK’s first mobile escape rooms experience; ‘the Deliveroo escape rooms bus’. This amazing activation gave students the chance to gain a better understanding of the order process and options available on Deliveroo.

AMPLIFY

Putting the power into the ambassadors’ hands by crediting their Deliveroo account so that they could order and share food from Deliveroo’s restaurant partners with their friends at University. In return, they captured and shared their experience on social media using the hashtag #deliveroostudent.
