To establish Depop as the go-to place for students to discover and experiment with style for a price they can afford (buy), but also make money on their own terms (sell).
We recruited 11 Manchester-based Depop sellers who had deep ties in local fashion circles. Through the campaign, they could grow their audiences, meet other sellers and finesse their Depop game.
The ambassadors represented the brand across a range of digital and physical activations - driving students to download the app and explore their city's unique fashion in an ethical way, promoting circularity.
We created On Campus MCR – Depop’s first zine. Budding journalists. Aspiring designers. Ambitious photographers. All students, our team took a look at the meaning of being a Manchester student and how the city uniquely influences their style.
Working with a team of student journalists, photographers and designers - we launched On Campus MCR.
Distributed across key student hotspots, the zine was been commissioned and directed by students attending University in Manchester.
To bring Depop to students IRL, we opened the immersive Depop Market MCR. Vibrant venue Hatch played host to 26 sellers. And a lot of students, who could shop independent vintage, or eat, drink and soak up local musical talent.
The Raptor team went over and above to ensure that our first UK dip into the student ambassador world went smoothly.

The sellers had the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and grow their audiences across Instagram and Depop. The sellers saw a significant increase in the number of sales they made on the day, and post-event, as their audiences grew.
