FMBE Awards 2021
We are extremely proud to announce that last week in the FMBE Field Marketing Awards, our hard work was celebrated with the achievement of three awards across our campaigns from 2020.
For our Tinder UNI Student Digital Campaign, we received an award for Professional Agency Management. This award acknowledged the professionalism of an agency in meeting the challenges caused by COVID-19 to develop a campaign which not only survived, but thrived. Our original conceptualisation of a ‘Tinder UNI UK campus tour’, with a bespoke airstream truck set to takeover university campuses, was halted due to national lockdown. We were determined to make the most of the excited student workforce of brand ambassadors that we had recruited, as well as keeping Tinder UNI at the forefront of student minds. We developed #TinderTuition – a campaign which set up a fund for ambassadors to do something their future self would thank them for, as well as showing off their Tinder bio. The results of the campaign evidenced the enthusiasm of students to represent the brand, as well as an incredible social reach which hit KPIs at 102% vs target.
For our Deliveroo Student Brand Ambassador Campaign, we received an award for Consumer Campaign of the Year. This award acknowledged campaigns which saw a drive success for consumer goods and shopper products. As the student marketing agency of choice for Deliveroo since 2015, we worked to develop the ultimate student campaign for Deliveroo to deliver their mantra of ‘Food Freedom’. Aiming to bring food happiness to students across the UK&IRE and drive top of mind awareness to student by making an impact on campus. Our multifaceted activation provided a fully integrated campaign, from ‘Surprise and Delight’ sampling in 35 cities across the UK, to a Student Food Festival tour across 5 cities in the UK. The results of this campaign saw 232 ambassadors across 35 different student cities adopting an always on attitude and using their initiative to achieve individual and team campaign targets. We distributed 28,000 restaurant samples and hit an online reach of 225% vs. target.
And finally, we were award the Bronze Award for Agency of the Year. This award acknowledged the commendation of award judges to one of the leading entrants across categories in the year.
We are extremely thankful to our network of student brand ambassadors, university partners and unions, as well as our in-office team at Raptor HQ for their hard work in the past year – without which these achievements would not have been possible.
